Marvel vs Capcom 3

It's been over a decade since the last entry in the "Marvel vs. Capcom" series and more than six months since we first revealed the game’s existence, but we edge ever closer to MvC3’s release date. When might that release date be, you ask? Wonder no more, True Believers! "Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds" will arrive on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles on February 15, 2011!

Not content with getting your hands on the standard edition of what may very well be greatest fighting game of all time? Fans with the extra cash can grab the MvC3 special edition, priced at $69.99. This deluxe version comes with a Steelbook featuring four pieces of art, a 48-page comic and art book, a one-month subscription to Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited and two new DLC characters--Marvel’s own demonic Shuma-Gorath and Capcom’s "Resident Evil" star Jill Valentine (note: the DLC characters will be available four weeks after launch). Also joining Shuma-Gorath and Jill Valentine on the dynamic roster are Marvel’s verdant vixen She-Hulk and Capcom’s Zero of "Mega Man" fame. Both Shulkie and Zero will be available at launch as part of the full MvC3 roster! Check out the two character spotlight videos and 16 images below to see much more from these mighty warriors.
